What I love about my position:
I love preaching and teaching the Word of God. I love caring for people, leading people, and bringing to bear God’s Word in life’s highs and lows. Being able to walk with people throughout their life, encouraging them to follow Jesus, is a great privilege.
Bible Verse with Special Meaning:
Exodus 4:10-12
But Moses said to the LORD, “Oh, my Lord, I am not eloquent, either in the past or since you have spoken to your servant, but I am slow of speech and of tongue.” Then the LORD said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Who makes him mute, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Is it not I, the LORD? Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall speak.”
The Exodus was and continues to be one of my favorite bible stories. I especially resonate with Moses. God qualifies the Called, instead of the other way around.
