    Young adults 18 years old (and out of high school) to 30-somethings are invited to join the Denver Area Young Adults on Friday, August 22 6-9pm at Breckenridge Brewery as they eat, fellowship, and talk theology. Even if you're not 21 you can order non-alcoholic drinks and meet other young adults from the area! Pastor Olson from Hope Lutheran Church Aurora will be leading the discussion.     Calling all 5th-12th graders! Join us on Sunday, August 24 from 2-5pm as we celebrate the end of summer with swimming and lawn games. Wear a modest swimsuit, bring your towel & sunscreen. Even if you're not into swimming join us for fun & games! Drop off & pick up at the Sweeney's Home

    All 5th–8th grade students and their parents are invited to our Confirmation Orientation! We’ll share the vision for this year’s program, introduce our mentors, walk through the schedule, and answer any questions. This is the first step in an exciting journey of growing in faith, building community, and exploring what it means to follow Jesus.


    Whether you’re brand new or continuing from last year, please make plans to attend—this will set the stage for the year ahead. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Ben Oesch at boesch@sothfamily.org.

Missionary of the Month

Rev. James & Angela Sharp | Puerto Rico

Rev. James and Angela Sharp have moved from Uruguay, South America, and are now serving as missionaries in Puerto Rico. Pastor Sharp is helping to plant churches throughout Puerto Rico – in Bayamón, Ponce, and Mayaguez. Soon there will be another church in Carolina. Church planting takes a dedicated team of pastors, deaconesses, and workers/volunteers. The full team meets once a month in Ponce for devotions, planning, and fellowship.
